Smoothies have been popular for quite a while. For some this means a drink with lots of ground up fruit and yogurt. And for others it may be their favorite protein powder, with a little low sugar yogurt, herbal flavoring and a little lower sugar type of fruit added at the end of the blending so the fruit is less pulped and therefor produces less sugar.
Protein shakes are very popular now and there is aspect of this that has become popular because of the health benefits. The green smoothie. Greens such as spinach, kale and celery; and orange vegetables like carrots and canned pumpkin can be blended in.
Then there is green powder that can be used. I use this and fresh vegetables, but I’m cautious of the green power source and I prefer not to use anything with wheat grass.
